PA Systems
PAs, or Public Address Systems serve to amplify sound to ensure it reaches a larger audience. PAs include a range of devices, such as megaphones, microphone and speaker combos and even extensive, fixed systems in large buildings.
It is worth briefly looking at PA systems that may be used in the classroom. These usually consist of a speaker and can connect one or more microphones. Most PAs also include a 'mixer' which allows the user to set the levels of different inputs.
PAs can be used to amplify vocalists or other inputs in music classrooms.

As you can see, this PA has 3 microphone inputs each with a level control. The EQ allows adjustment between the amount of low, mid and high frequencies amplified. There is also an audio RCA input (red and white) and a usb input, which are controlled through the panel on the far right.
