Cable Rolling
Rolling a cable properly is more than an aesthetic activity. It prevents damage and promotes neat storage.
Every cable has a tendency to coil in a certain way. Poorly rolling a cable can decrease its lifespan by damaging the copper wiring inside.

Aesthetically pleasing and suitable for storage.

Rolling a cable roughly, or having to use a significant amount of force, is also a bad move. As much as possible, follow the way the cable wants to roll, but alternate this as you stack the coils.
Cables that have been poorly rolled or stored in the past will be negatively affected by this and retain some shaping. It's important to roll your cables correctly every time. In a school setting, it's also a good idea to teach students to correctly roll and handle cables.
Rolling cables well is a skill that requires practice to master.
